·      Injured hand signifies pain and grief that the character is going through in the movie.

·      Emotions on face shows confusion and a double-sided mind, which means that he does not know which choice to make perhaps.

·      Bold red font stands out because the background is dull and grainy; this signifies that the title of the film has the entire story in it.

·      How the bottom half of the name seems to erode away implies that time is possibly running out for him or even that his family is starting to shatter or ‘erode’ from him.

·      The caption “Would you sacrifice another family to save your own?” signifies that the story is about the characters family being in trouble and the only way to save them is to perhaps kill another group of individuals.

·      Rain signifies sorrow, tears, despair, hardship etc.

·      The character is placed at the centre of the frame signifying that there is no way out for him and that he cannot escape or possibly save his family.

·      The gun seems to be on the top left hand of the frame, possibly implying that violence is going to be a common technique utilized in the film, however placing the gun on his injured hand tells us as the audience that he is still weak and is like a mouse in a corner trying to fend of the bad guys.

·      There is however usage of a white light on the right side possibly giving an idea that there could be a way out and that there is still hope for him and the people he is attempting to rescue.

·      His clothes are black that portray his situation as sad and filled with depression, you would wear a black outfit in a funeral, so using those shows that death will also be a part of this film, that being his or someone close to him.

·      He seems to be looking at the ground with a sign of sadness in his eyes, this could mean that someone has just died or that there he is in shock of what has just taken place.
